# Creating an expandable textbox

In this guide, we will go over how to create an expandable textbox using Builder’s tab block. This is an easy way to add a button that when clicked will expand and show a text box or other content.

1. Drag and drop a tabs block onto your page
2. Select the tabs component and navigate to the options tab. Remove the second tab.
3. Select “show advanced” and change the default active tab to -1 and toggle collapsible on.

Now, your expandable textbox should look something like this
