# Credit reset every month?

Hello,

Could you please clarify whether unused credits expire at the end of the monthly billing period?

My account currently shows a balance of exactly 1,000 credits. However, I cannot see any remaining credits from my previous balance. I purchased an additional 1,000 credits on the 12th, and I had not used all of my existing credits before the previous billing period ended. Therefore, my current balance should be higher than 1,000 credits.

Could you please review my credit and transaction history and confirm whether any unused credits expired or were removed from my account? I am confident that I still had credits remaining at the end of the previous billing period.

Please restore any missing credits to my account.

Hi Leon,

On how credits generally work: unused credits do carry over month to month on paid plans, but there’s a cap — you can never hold more than 2x your monthly allocation.

So if your monthly plan credit is, say, 500, the most you could ever roll into a new cycle is 500 (on top of that month’s new 500), for a max of 1,000. Any unused credits above that cap don’t carry forward.

Purchased top-up credits are meant to stay separate and roll over as long as they’re unused, so they normally wouldn’t just disappear.
