Editing in the canvas

Is click-to-edit in the canvas available on the free version of builder? Example, copy-pasting elements, resizing elements directly in the canvas without having to go into the styles tab or AI mode.

I see it in all the demo videos, but don’t see the functionality, so can’t figure out if it’s gated on the free plan.

Click-to-edit in the canvas (selecting elements directly, resizing via drag handles, copy/paste on the canvas) is part of the core Visual Editor and is available on the free plan, it’s not gated behind a paid tier or AI mode.

If you’re not seeing it, a few things to check:

  • Make sure you’re in the Visual Editor tab (not the Data or Preview tab)
  • Try clicking directly on an element in the canvas to select it, you should see resize handles appear
  • Check if the component you’re trying to edit is locked or if you’re viewing a read-only version/revision
