# How can i add a table to the Rich Text element?

we’re trying to add a table to a blog post we have, but not finding an easy way to do so.

Hi @julianbenegas,

Welcome to the [builder.io](http://builder.io) forum.

You can use a table using code, but that could be too fragile (the table will go away if you edit outside of the coding mode). Instead, maybe use a custom code block -OR- create the table using CSS grid or CSS flexbox if that works for you.
