# How can I turn off auto save

We hope you’re doing well.

Auto-save can’t be turned off. An alternate solution for you and your teammate could be to use the [Checkpoints](https://www.builder.io/c/docs/history) feature or [duplicate](https://forum.builder.io/t/how-do-i-duplicate-or-copy-a-page-or-entry-in-builder/394) the same content for your teammate.

Also, just to clarify, changes made to the page don’t go live until you publish the page again.
