# How to leave empty to use default rich text?

How can I delete the content in richText to real empty?

As you can see  
I have to “leave empty to use the default richText"  
However, once I’ve entered anything into the rich text, I can no longer set its content back to empty…

Because even if I delete everything inside the rich text editor, it still contains an empty HTML string like: `"<p><br/></p>"`

This makes it impossible for the rich text to be truly empty, and I can’t fall back to the default language’s rich text content.

What should I do? Is there any solution to this?

We face the same issue and have to make workarounds on our side. please give this bug more attention, that should not be hard to fix 🙏
