I’m relatively new to using [Builder.io](http://Builder.io) and have been exploring its features for building and managing web pages. However, I’ve noticed that my site’s performance isn’t as optimal as I would like it to be. I’m looking for advice on best practices for optimizing a site built with [Builder.io](http://Builder.io).

Specifically, I’m interested in:

- Strategies for improving page load times.
- Techniques to reduce JavaScript and CSS file sizes without affecting functionality.
- Ways to leverage caching effectively.
- How to utilize [Builder.io](http://Builder.io)’s dynamic content features to streamline site updates.
- Any tips on integrating third-party services like analytics or ad networks to maintain a fast site speed.

I check this: [https://forum.builder.io/t/optimizing-custom-components-for-better-core-web-vitals-performance-on-pages](https://forum.builder.io/t/optimizing-custom-components-for-better-core-web-vitals-performance-on-pages/6818)[jira-certification](https://www.igmguru.com/agile-and-scrum/jira-project-management-training) But I have not found any solution. If anyone has experience with these areas, I’d love to hear about your experiences and recommendations.

Thanks in advance for your insights!

Hi and welcome to the [Builder.io](http://Builder.io) community!

You’re asking great questions. Here are a few quick tips to help optimize your [Builder.io](http://Builder.io) site:

- **Improve load times** : Use Builder’s lazy loading for images and components. Also, limit large third-party scripts.
- **Reduce JS/CSS size** : Avoid unnecessary custom components or third-party libraries. Tree-shake and minify where possible.
- **Leverage caching** : Set cache-control headers via your hosting/CDN. Use Builder’s content API with edge caching.
- **Dynamic content** : Use targeting and localization features smartly—avoid loading all variations at once.
- **Third-party integrations** : Load analytics/ad scripts asynchronously and defer non-essential ones.

[Builder.io](http://Builder.io)’s performance docs are also helpful. Hope this gives you a good start!

1. **Lazy Load Images & Videos**
– Use Builder’s image component with `lazy` loading.
– Add `loading="lazy"` to videos/iframes.
2. **Serve Optimized Images**
– Use WebP format via Builder’s image CDN: `?format=webp&quality=auto`.
3. **Minimize Third-Party Scripts**
– Load only essential tools (e.g. chat, analytics). Defer or load after page load.
4. **Clean Up Unused Components**
– Remove hidden or extra blocks in Builder pages.
5. **Use Static Site Generation (SSG)**
– Integrate Builder with **Next.js or Nuxt** to pre-render pages for speed.
6. **Reduce DOM Size**
– Avoid deep nesting and overuse of containers.
7. **Leverage Caching and CDN**
– Use a CDN like Vercel/Cloudflare and set proper cache headers.
8. **Audit with Lighthouse**
– Run performance tests to fix slow elements and layout shifts.
