Essentially we want to have two different page templates based on a dynamic data field, from on the frontend. This would allow content editors to switch between two different types of pages, driven by the same data. Is there a recommended way to achieve this?

Hi @ajonescorra, Welcome to the [Builder.io](http://Builder.io) Forum!

To work on dynamic data, I would recommend checking out this blog [Connecting dynamic data in Builder's Visual Editor](https://www.builder.io/blog/builder-data)

Feel free to reach out if you’ve further questions!

I ran into the same thing and ended up using a single model with conditionals for layout changes. Makes things simpler to manage and keeps everything in one place. I use custom targeting fields to switch between designs, especially helpful for bigger changes like a [roadmap template](https://www.officetimeline.com/roadmaps/templates)
or landing pages that need a totally different layout.
