# New Publish mode UI missing Animation and breakpoint?

I haven’t used the new Publish UI until now but notice it’s missing key features of the legacy UI. Namely the “Animate” tab and the tablet breakpoints along with the ability to switch between breakpoints. Is it hidden somewhere in that UI? I can’t seem to find any reference to it in the docs as they seem to be all focused on the classic UI.

Any help would be appreciated. Starting to worry that the evolution of vibe coding is effecting the experience in ways that seem strange.

Thank you for reaching out.

I’ve looked into this and found that, although the breakpoints may not be immediately visible in the new UI, the feature is still available—it just appears differently now.

To access the breakpoints, please click on the downward arrow to open the _Quick Preview_ options. You should see the breakpoints listed there.

Thanks but that seems like a very convoluted way to work when building and QAing pages across breakpoints. Based on your screeen shots it also doesn’t seem possible to edit parameters in preview mode. Is that correct?

Thankfully I ended up finding the switch to go back to legacy mode (also very hidden and not intuitive).
