# Possible bug with adding a "Block" field to a model

I added a “Block” field to one of my models, and when I go to an instance of the model and try to add a block, this is what I see:

Hi @Canuckaholic, that type is undocumented and still in beta. Can you please explain your use case for it? One of the other common types should work for most situations. Thanks!

Ok. Is there any way to know what is still in beta and what is not?

Most of our beta features are indicated with a `beta` label next to them. However, other features such as the one you encountered may not yet have official documentation and you can generally assume they are still being tested. Admittedly, these experimental field types should be hidden from our UI and I’ll submit a ticket to our Engineering team today to request that.
