I’m building a Next.js ecommerce storefront with Medusa as the commerce backend, and I’d like access to Builder Publish / Visual CMS.
I want to use Publish for visual editing and publishing of product pages, landing pages, advertorials, and campaign pages. Medusa would remain the source of truth for products, variants, pricing, inventory, cart, checkout, and orders, while Builder would manage the visual content/layout layer.
Can you let me know how to get access to Publish, what the minimum required plan is, and whether it’s available self-serve or only through Enterprise?
Thanks for sharing your architecture. It sounds like a great fit.
Access to Builder Publish (Visual CMS)
Builder Publish is not being sunset, and we’re continuing to invest heavily in it. Over the last year we’ve shipped significant improvements, and it’s an important part of our product roadmap.
The main change is our onboarding process. New customers interested in Publish are now encouraged to work with our sales team instead of signing up through a self serve flow. This helps us better understand each customer’s CMS requirements and ensure Publish is the right fit.
You can read more about this change from our Product Manager here:
In addition, our community integration guide walks through setting up Builder with a Medusa storefront using Next.js App Router, which may be helpful as you get started:
Please let us know if you have any questions. We’re happy to help with the setup once you’re ready.
