Hi there,

The content link you provided has been deleted, so I am unable to check it.

This “Wrong space detected” error appears in Builder.io’s editor when you try to use a Figma Smart Export that was created in a different Builder.io space than the one you’re currently logged into.

Specifically, it happens when:

  1. You or a teammate exported a Figma design using the Builder.io Figma plugin while logged into Space A, generating a Smart Export linked to that space
  2. You’re now in Space B (a different Builder.io organization/space) trying to use or resume that same Smart Export
  3. The Smart Export ID (vcp-dc8f3697... in your case) is tied to the original space and can’t be used across spaces

Common scenarios that trigger this:

  • Switching between client workspaces or organizations in Builder.io
  • A teammate shared a Figma file or export link, but they’re in a different Builder space
  • You have multiple Builder accounts and are logged into the wrong one
  • The Figma plugin session is authenticated to a different space than your browser session

To fix it, as the error message says: open the Figma plugin, make sure you’re logged into the exact same Builder.io space where this Smart Export was originally created, then re-export. The Smart Export ID tells you which space it belongs to, so you may need to switch spaces in the plugin before exporting.
