Migrate from Wordpress guide

@gustavohgs Thanks for this article, Moving from Wordpress to Builder.io. That would be a good start in the migration process. I’ve been using WordPress for many years with ACF, Oxygen Builder, and various other tools.

Here is a typical site build https://www.miamiculinarytours.com/. When considering a migration to Builder.io and Nextjs, how would I implement an XML sitemap, rich snippets, OG tags, canonical links, blog categories, etc? Are those all things I would need to figure out how to build in Nextjs? For example, how would I get a last modified date of a page into an XML sitemap?

Hello @jasperkooij,

When migrating to Builder.io and Next.js, you can utilize the Builder content API in combination with Next.js to implement an XML sitemap, including the last modified date, and other relevant information.

Check out this forum post for detailed guidance on generating a sitemap.

Additionally, Builder pages provide a graphical UI for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) by default. You can find more information about SEO settings in Builder here.

If you have any further questions or need assistance with specific aspects of the migration, feel free to reach out!

Best regards,
