What are you trying to accomplish

  1. Some text and objects are not aligning properly
  2. Having some issues with responsive design
  3. My website appears differently on the visual editor vs the preview site.

If I ask the AI to fix any of these things, it doesn’t work. If I make the changes manually, the AI then “applies the visual changes”, but nothing happens and all my changes disappear, and I lose an AI credit. I am burning through my credits for every tiny change that needs to be made, and the changes aren’t even applying correctly. I tried toggling “Allow AI Features” off in settings and that doesn’t do anything. I wanted to make a no-code website with very little coding knowledge, which Fusion has been incredibly helpful with, but now I feel stuck with it. I can only assume there is some style applied to the overall project that is overriding my changes, but I can’t figure it out.

I bought the pro plan to hopefully make this faster, now I’m being helped by the same person that was helping me in the forum for free anyway? How long will this take?

Hi @nickrobs I understand your concern about the timeline. I’ve been working on reproducing and investigating your issue with the AI visual changes not applying correctly and consuming credits without making the intended changes.

I’ve confirmed the issue by replicating it in the duplicate project I created. The team is actively investigating the root cause of why the AI changes aren’t sticking and why manual changes disappear when you try to apply visual updates.

I’m expecting to have more concrete information within the next 2-3 business days. In the meantime, I’d recommend:

  • Saving your work frequently before applying any AI suggestions

  • Making smaller, incremental changes when possible

I know this has been frustrating, especially when you’re trying to build your website efficiently. We’re working to resolve this promptly.

It has been almost a week. Can you please help me? I don’t understand why it’s so hard, I just want to change the size of text and elements on my page without AI interfering.

Hi @nickrobs the issue you’re facing isn’t something that can be easily reproduced. I’ve duplicated your project a couple of times, and everything worked fine in those copies. The problem only seems to occur in your main project, which I’m still able to replicate.

As a temporary workaround, I recommend duplicating the project and continuing your work in the duplicated version while we investigate what’s happening with the main one.
