I had a similar issue and fixed it by making sure the image URL is publicly accessible and not behind any permission wall. Also double-checked that it’s actually being set in the meta tags.

I had the same headache before and the fix was making sure the image link wasn’t locked behind any permissions, then giving platforms a bit of time to refresh their preview cache. i had the same issue and realized the image url needs to be publicly accessible, and sometimes giving it a few minutes after publishing helps trigger the metadata refresh properly
