Remote images instead of upload?

Hi everyone,

I’m just wondering if there is a way to link remote images (in the “Image” block on a site) instead of having to upload it. Is there a way already? If not, do you think this would be a good feature to add?

Hi Kara, sorry for the late reply. We’re not 100% sure yet about where we want to store them, but probably either the Amazon, Google, or Vercel cloud. Ideally, there would be a way to reference an image from any publicly accessible URL.

Hey @lenapgl, sorry for the slow response! You can use remote images in Builder without needing to upload them. I’d recommend following the guide here that walks through those steps. It’s also worth mentioning we have a plugin with cloudinary or you can always drag and drop an “embed” block on to your page and add a url for an image/video that way too.
