Hello Everyone,
I’ve recently started using Builder.io to manage and design several of my projects, and I’m really impressed by the flexibility it offers in creating visually stunning and functional web pages. However, I’ve run into some issues with page load speed, especially as I add more content and components to the pages. The performance seems to dip, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to optimize it.
Here’s some context:
- Page Complexity: I’m working on a landing page that includes various sections such as videos, interactive sliders, forms, and some high-quality images. I notice that as I add more dynamic content, the page seems to load slower.
- Media Assets: I’m already compressing the images and using web-friendly formats, but I still feel like the media is causing some delay in page load. I’ve considered using lazy loading for images, but I’m not sure how to properly implement it in Builder.io.
- Custom Code & Plugins: I’ve integrated some custom code and third-party plugins into the page. Could this be contributing to the slowdown? If so, are there any best practices for managing external scripts or minimizing their impact?
- Analytics and Tracking: I’ve added a few tracking codes (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.) which could also be affecting performance. Is there a better way to handle these tracking codes to ensure minimal impact on page speed?
I’d really appreciate any insights, tips, or best practices from the community on how I can improve page load speed in Builder.io. Are there specific settings or features within the platform that could help optimize servicenow performance?
Thank you in advance.
