Builder.IO Publish - data privacy concerns on an Enterprise level

What are you trying to accomplish
I want to consider Builder.IO for my organization.

Code stack you are integrating Builder with
Angular and React

Hi Builder.io team,

We’re currently evaluating Builder.io Publish for enterprise use within our organization for our React and Angular UI Library.

However, a key requirement for our enterprise is complete data isolation. Specifically:

  • No component metadata, layout data, or user data should leave our network
  • No external network calls should be made to Builder.io or any third-party cloud services
  • Ideally, Builder.io could be deployed in a fully air-gapped, no public internet environment

We’re looking for clarification on:

  1. Is it possible to self-host the Builder.io editor, API, and content management infrastructure?
  2. Can the platform be run completely disconnected from the public internet?

Thanks in advance,
Xavier

Hi Xavier,

The Builder.io visual editor editor and content management APIs are designed as cloud-first services that rely on hosted infrastructure, and as such Builder does not offer self-hosting options at this time
