I had a couple of questions regarding user management in Builder
User Roles & Pricing:
Currently, we have 5 admins in Builder. While upgrading, we noticed it charges $50 per seat. However, we don’t need all users to have full CMS/admin access. Is there a way to add users with limited access (e.g., posting-related activity only) without incurring additional seat costs?
Removing a User:
We’d like to remove one existing user. This user has created several pages and CMS items. If we remove them, will the content they created (pages, CMS blogs, etc.) also be deleted, or will it remain intact?
Builder pricing is based on user seats, which are billed at $39 per user/month on the annual plan or $49 per user/month on the monthly plan. If you have 5 users, you’ll need to pay for all 5 seats once you upgrade to a paid plan.
On a paid plan, you can assign different roles to each user depending on their responsibilities. Available roles include Contributor, Editor, Designer, Developer, and Admin. Removing a User
When you remove a user from Builder.io, the content they created — such as pages or CMS items — remains intact. Removing a user does not delete their content, so your existing site and CMS entries will stay safe.
This means you can adjust or remove users without affecting the content in your organization. For more details, the Managing Users Guide is a helpful reference.
