Hello Team,
I’ve successfully imported my frontend design into Builder.io and I’m now working on integrating it with a Supabase backend. I’d like to confirm the correct approach regarding database setup:
Should I manually create the database and tables in Supabase, or does Builder.io offer an automated way to generate the necessary database schema and structure during integration?
I’m aiming to ensure a clean and consistent connection between the frontend and backend without redundant setup.
Appreciate your guidance on best practices for this integration.
Hi ShivanandaReddy,
At this time, Builder.io doesn’t offer an automated way to generate or manage your database schema directly.
However, you can integrate your Supabase backend with Builder using our AI features. Simply provide your database connection details and access within your Builder project, and the AI can assist in generating API logic or data bindings based on your schema.
Best regards,
what steps i want to do for that. And i want create table in database or builder.io only will build the tables regrading our project.
Hi ShivanandaReddy,
Are you using our Fusion plugs? If yes, you can use our AI feature to connect with the Supabase backend. AI will provide you with the detailed steps.
Thanks,
