Embedding a lightweight “tool guide” page inside builder, best way without hurting performance/seo?

Hey everyone :waving_hand:

I’m building a landing page in Builder and I’m trying to keep everything clean and fast, but I’m running into a weird issue with content that includes external resources.

For context, I’m working on a page that includes a small walkthrough for a Windows editing workflow, and part of the copy references capcut pc as an example tool people use in the process.

The problem is, I’m not sure what the best practice is in Builder when the page includes links like this and a bit of longer “how-to” content. I’ve noticed that when I add a lot of supporting text, internal sections, and a couple external references, the page sometimes starts feeling heavier and I also worry about how it impacts SEO when the content is structured inside Builder blocks.

I’m also trying to avoid anything that could look spammy or unnatural (especially since I’m not trying to “promote” anything, it’s just part of the workflow explanation), but I still want the content to feel human and useful.

Has anyone dealt with this kind of setup before? Specifically, what’s the cleanest way to structure longer tutorial-style content in builder while keeping performance solid and avoiding SEO issues like duplicated headings, weird DOM structure, or link placement problems?

Would love to hear how others handle this.

Thanks!

Hello @mello09,

Great question. This is something we see pretty often with longer tutorial style pages.

A few quick suggestions from our side:

First, focus on clean structure. Keep one H1 on the page, use H2s for each major section, and avoid splitting content into too many small Text blocks. It is usually better to keep each section inside a single well structured Text block. That helps prevent duplicate headings and keeps the DOM cleaner.

Second, try to reduce deep nesting. Pages start to feel heavy when there are too many Sections and Columns stacked inside each other. The text itself is not the issue most of the time, it is the layout structure.

Regarding external links, referencing a tool naturally inside your workflow explanation is completely fine. Just keep the anchor text natural, avoid repeating the same link multiple times, and make sure it fits contextually. That will not look spammy.

If performance feels off, I would check images, third party scripts, and animations before worrying about text content.
